The Franklin Electric 12-Inch Rewindable Submersible Motor is a heavy-duty, three-phase submersible motor engineered for reliable operation in 12" and larger high-capacity water wells in municipal, agricultural, and industrial applications.

• Filled with non-contaminating FES93 fluid for internal lubrication and frost protection down to 5 °F (-15 °C) storage temperature.

• Internal diaphragm design provides reliable pressure compensation inside the motor to protect components during operation and storage.

• Easy-to-assemble double-flange construction simplifies installation with 12" submersible turbine pump ends.

• Cable materials meet drinking water regulations (VDE/ACS/KTW approved) for safe use in potable water systems.

• Rated for up to 5 starts per hour and suitable for both vertical and horizontal installation to match system design needs.

• Supplied with 20 ft (6 m) motor lead as standard, with special lead lengths available upon request.

• Standard voltages include 460 V / 60 Hz and 575 V / 60 Hz, with wide voltage tolerances for 50 Hz and 60 Hz operation.

• Designed for ambient temperatures up to 30 °C with a minimum cooling flow of 0.5 m/s around the motor.
